The Bachelor of General Studies (traditional) is not a Bachelor of Arts or Science degree, but is instead a Bachelor of General Studies (BGS) and allows daytime students to select three disciplines from any discipline on campus to make up the major. This program is distinctive, because unlike other College of Arts and Science majors, foreign language is not a general education requirement.
